What I fly
DJI Mini 5 Pro — a drone with a class C0 declaration of conformity under Regulation 2019/945. Class C0 means subcategory A1, the lightest set of restrictions in the open category. For weddings and events it is the best possible choice, and not only because of the rules.
A small drone is quiet. During the ceremony you should hear the vows, not the propellers — a heavier machine is simply out of the question where sound and the guests' peace matter. And despite its size, this is the first drone of its class with a 1-inch sensor, so quality is not a compromise here.
The rules for class C0 do not even require the A1/A3 examination from me. I hold it anyway, together with A2 and STS theory. I have more qualifications than my equipment demands — and I would rather keep it that way.
