A session where you do not have to pretend
Most people say they photograph badly. Almost none of them do. What they usually mean is that they have only been photographed by someone who told them to smile and counted to three.
I work differently. We talk, I suggest what to do with your hands, and I show you the frames as they happen. By the tenth minute you stop thinking about the camera, and that is when the good pictures start.
What we can do
A portrait for a profile, a CV or a company website. A session because you have changed something about yourself and want it recorded. Photographs for an artistic portfolio. Or simply a set of pictures where you look the way people who know you actually see you.
Studio or outdoors, depending on what suits the idea. In the studio we control the light completely; outdoors we get depth and context that no backdrop can imitate.
Choosing the location
Kraków gives more than people expect. The Planty park, the riverside boulevards, Kazimierz with its textured walls, Nowa Huta for anyone wanting something less pretty and more graphic.
If you have a place that means something to you, tell me. A session in a location with a story behind it always turns out better than one in a spot chosen for looking good.
What to bring
Two or three changes of clothing, ideally in different registers: something formal, something everyday, something you feel best in. Plain fabrics photograph better than busy patterns.
If you are booking a make-up artist, allow an hour before the session rather than doing it back to back. Rushing shows on the face.
What you receive
A private online gallery with the edited photographs, in resolution suitable for printing. Additional frames beyond the package cost 50 PLN each, chosen after you have seen the gallery.
Editing means light, colour and removing what is temporary: a blemish, a stray hair, a reflection in glasses. I do not reshape faces or bodies. If you want something more, say so at the start; I would rather agree the scope beforehand than explain an omission afterwards.
